Two or three dozens of new adware programs appear each week. These programs are mostly non-maliicous but annoying. However, they might compromise user's security and privacy in some way. Moreover, this kind of computer infection is the most wide-spread around.

There is a chance that you are already familiar to adware and maybe remove couple of adware infections. Then, you know the kind of frustration caused by deceptively installed adware programs. This weekly report will help to introduce newest threats and provide some short introduction related to the basic nature of newest adware programs and problems related to adware removal. Let's start to take a look at programs that are barely wanted despite of claims.

Keep Now browser add-on offers greatest deals, discounts and coupons from the user’s favorite online shopping sites. Then you need to remove similarly named browser extensions, add-ons, or browser helper objects depend on the browser type.

CouponFactory

CouponFactory is an application that let sellers to manage promotional campaigns and deliver coupon offers to their users. CouponFactory agent might be deceptively installed on your computer with other programs and updates. If you see ads in your web browser that are not related to some particular adware program, then look for CouponFactory and remove it unless you need it. Coupons displayed by CouponFactory in your web browsers barely would hurt your compute system. However, your web traffic will be often wasted as well as system resources.

UniDeals

UniDeals is an adware designed to push sales by offering discounts and coupons. It promises savings but narrows the circle of sellers to business partners that pay for promotion. This program is often installed without user’s consent along with free programs from websites that employ bundling practices for monetizing. UniDeals is not malicious, however adware is not safe either because tracking of your web browsing history might cause some privacy problems if your profile is shared among promoters.

Coupon Marvel

Coupon Marvel adware shows retail discounts in web browser on websites related to online shopping. It consists of a Widows program and web browser extension, add-ons, or browser helper objects installed in Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Usually, this adware infects your web browsers when you install free programs and updates from the web. If you want to remove Coupon Marvel, then you need to remove all of these Coupon Marvel components.

RandomPrice offers cheapest deals for online shopping. However, it is designed as adware with purpose of making money out of users’ clicks. If you install it, then you will see a lot of ads displayed by RandomPrice in your Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer while you are browsing. RandomPrice is not malicious, however adware is not safe either. RandomPrice can waste your web traffic for activities that you don’t really need.

AlgoChord

AlgoChord is a program that extends access to social networks, lets hear local radio stations and convert PDF files. However this browser extension is ad-supported and designed primarily for monetizing your clicks. It hijacks your web browser for displaying ads and deals in your Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. Certainly, ads displayed by AlgoChord cannot hurt your compute, but adware activities compromise your privacy and some ads might lead to computer infections.

Word Proser

Word Proser is adware program promoted as a tool for search and translation. It uses Bing and Wikipedia as the base and injects advertising if possible in search results. Certainly, Word Proser is not malicious and cannot hurt your computer, but your privacy might suffer because it tracks you browsing history and searches. Word Proser adware often infects your Chrome Firefox, or Internet Explorer in unexpected way while you install some free program and fail to notice bundled software.

AutoCouponMaker

AutoCouponMaker is an adware program that is often bundled with popular free programs. It offers sales coupons when you visit websites that are somehow related because it tracks your browsing history and can compromise your privacy by sharing you profile. If you install a free program and failed to disable bundled AutoCouponMaker application, then ads appear in your Chrome, Firefox, or Internet Explorer. The option is usually present as a marked check box in download client or setup wizard that comes with a free program that you download.

iDeals

iDeals is adware program that claims displaying best online deals. This means annoying permanent promotion through advertising displayed in your web browser. iDeals is installed with other freeware and can come with additional adware that hijacks your Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Google Chrome for spying on you browsing history and displaying ads and deals that can attract your clicks and help to get some income. While iDeals is not malicious by design, any adware presents some threats to your security and privacy.

SaleBuilder

SaleBuilder adware is a PUP (potentially unwanted program) responsible for ads, deals, coupons, and pop-ups displayed in your Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer. This happens if SaleBuilder adware infected your computer when you installed it yourself, or got it installed with a free program that you download. SaleBuilder is not malicious, and your antivirus didn’t warn you on this potential threat.

This list is not full, and more adware programs appeared this week on the market.
