How to access Options on new Firefox?

By Unknown  |  8:31 AM No comments

"Options" is the most popular element of Firefox web browser and the most needed one. It gives you access to various Firefox functions that are mostly used by computer users such as security levels, privacy options, browser syncronization, and other functions.

However, new Firefox comes with a new menu that do not have access to "Options" by default. It was removed for some reason from the main menu, and you might have a hard time while trying to find it.

It fact accessing "Options" tab is not difficult. You just need to use Customize utility and include link to "Options" in the Firefox main menu as described below.

Access "Options" on new Firefox

Start Firefox, click "Menu" icon, and select "Customize" option

Find "Options" menu item that looks like a gear icon, drag it to the menu box, and click on "Exit customize" utility.

Any time when you need to access Firefox Options, Click "Menu" icon, and click on "Options" link with a gear icon atop that you place in the menu.

Now, you can customize your Firefox and select or remove menu items in a similar way. While new Firefox menu might be puzzling at the beginning, in fact, it became more functional and intuitive.

New Firefox "Customize" utility reminds Safari, and it was one of its features that I liked most. If you use Firefox, I think you will easily get used to the large menu icons and only one menu access button that is placed in a similar way as on other popular web browsers. Once you get used to Customize, you will find that your new Firefox is logical and even more user friendly than before.
